Characteristics of water-based adhesive

Any kind of adhesive for substrate is not omnipotent, an adhesive is only suitable for bonding some or some kind of specific material. Such as Lamination Adhesive SA-2800X and Water Based Dry Laminating Adhesive SA-228 series water-based adhesives are mainly used for bonding between paper/paper, PET film/paper, BOPP film/paper, wood/paper and other substrates.

Every kind of water-based adhesive has its "inherent characteristics". The inherent characteristics of water-based adhesive mainly include appearance (product appearance and film appearance), solid content, density, pH value, solvent ratio, opening time, high and low temperature resistance, initial viscosity, curing viscosity, etc.

The bonding mode of water-based adhesive is generally divided into three kinds: machine adhesive, hand adhesive, machine adhesive and hand adhesive. Different bonding modes correspond to different inherent characteristics. For example, when using machine adhesive, water-based adhesive opening time is required to be short; When using hand adhesive, the water-based adhesive is required to open for a long time; When the film surface bonding, the adhesive film is flexible and the curing viscosity is high.
