Water-based wood paint runs off oil---Ask a water paint expert
Question:
Waterborne wood lacquer should run oil to a rainy day only, or brush one day, also can run oil when waiting for the 2nd day to brush again, did
especially ugly later . Water-based white paint does not have this problem. The problem ofwater-based varnish is obvious.
Answer:
Although it is a water-based paint, the film is hydrophobic. Brush the water-based paint on the water-repellent paint mold to remove oil due to water
wetting. White paint does not have this phenomenon, because white paint is relatively thick surface.
Solutions include:
1.Reduce the surface tension to a certain extent to reduce the smoothness of the film surface.
2.Do not use fluorinated surfactants.
3.Try to use a surfactant with good hydrophilic properties.
4.Pay attention to the HLB value
