The difference between nitrile rubber and nitrile latex
Different raw materials
Carboxyl nitrile latex: butadiene, acrylonitrile and methacrylic acid
Carboxyl nitrile butadiene latex (XNBRL) is a terpolymer of butadiene, acrylonitrile and acrylic acid or methacrylic acid, and is a modified variety of nitrile butadiene latex. Due to the introduction of carboxyl group, while containing C=C double bonds, sulfur vulcanization, peroxide vulcanization and other ways, so as to obtain a variety of excellent properties, and better than ordinary nitrile latex. Its products have excellent oil resistance, chemical resistance and mechanical properties, widely used in a variety of rubber and non-rubber products.
The introduction of carboxyl group enhances the polarity and stability of XNBRL, improves the hardness and strength of XNBRL film, and XNBRL does not contain protein, does not cause human allergy, and is preferred for the manufacture of oil-resistant gloves and medical gloves.
Nitrile rubber: butadiene and acrylonitrile
Nitrile rubber is made of butadiene and acrylonitrile by emulsion polymerization.
Nitrile rubber is mainly produced by low temperature emulsion polymerization. It has excellent oil resistance, high wear resistance, good heat resistance and strong adhesion. Its disadvantages are poor low temperature resistance, poor ozone resistance, poor insulation performance, and slightly lower elasticity.
Different shape
Nitrile rubber is in the form of blocks.
Carboxyl nitrile latex is a milky liquid
Different uses
Nitrile rubber: Nitrile rubber is mainly downstream for foam products, rubber hose tape, seals and other fields.
Carboxyl nitrile butadiene latex: The main downstream of carboxyl nitrile butadiene latex is labor protection gloves or disposable gloves.
Price is different
The price gap between the two is relatively large
