Water - based wood paint common problems: gloss wood paint uneven luster

Phenomenon

There is light coating on the wood surface, coating film gloss, some areas of low gloss

Cause

The wood fiber and pith ray in cork are loose with the growth of growth rings, the base material infiltrates excessively, the coating film increases the pigment volume concentration due

to the decrease of the base material, and the luster decreases. Other parts due to dense, less infiltration of the base material, pigment volume concentration unchanged, luster unchanged. If it is a varnish coating,loose parts due to the infiltration of base resin, coating thickness decreased, luster decreased. The thickness of the coating film is not uniform,not uniform luster.

Perfection

The substrate is sealed with high degree of polymerization and high molecular weight. The base material of coating is polymer or polymer emulsion with large relative molecular weight.The base material is larger than the wood hole of wood, so it is not easy to be absorbed.
