It is difficult to obtain good comprehensive properties of cotton fabric with only one finishing solution, but reasonable combination of finishing solution can give cotton fabric various functions.Polyurethane (PU) is a copolymer with alternating hard and soft chains. Its chemical structure can be controlled and it is widely used in adhesives, coatings, printing, textiles and medicine.Waterborne polyurethane (WPU) uses water instead of organic solvent as its medium, which has attracted widespread attention because of its environmental protection characteristics.Different waterborne polyurethanes and etherized 2D resins were selected to be used as the hands-off finishing of cotton fabric, in order to increase the actual effect of hands-off finishing of fabric and reduce the strength damage, and according to the optimal ratio of different components, the formula of hands-off finishing liquid with the best shape preserving characteristics was obtained.
Test results show

(1)The strength retention rate of the cotton fabric after the compound finishing of etherized 2D resin and 8 different water-based polyurethane was improved to different degrees. When the mass concentration of water-based polyurethane was 60g/L, the strength retention rate was as high as 69.52%.

(2)Strong protective agent can improve the strength retention rate of the cotton fabric after the ironing finishing, but excessive strong protective agent will reduce the wrinkling recovery of the cotton fabric According to various performance indexes of cotton fabric, when the mass concentration of etherized 2D resin is 100g/L, the mass concentration of water-based polyurethane is 40g/L, and the strong protective agent is 35g/L, the actual effect of free ironing is the best, the crease recovery Angle is up to 271.50, and the strength retention rate is 65.1
