Solvent selection

Pigment selection
Due to the large difference in the grade of pigments on the market, the performance of dispersive ink stability and other aspects of the same pigment from different manufacturers of the same resin in polyurethane inks often varies greatly, so it is suggested that users choose pigments carefully according to their actual customer needs
Selection of auxiliaries
Wax powder: the wax powder used in the production of polyurethane ink is often low molecular weight polyethylene wax, the relative molecular weight is generally 1000~6000, has good solubility in the organic solvent of ink, and has good affinity with the polyurethane resin itself, and has good chemical stability Mainly play to increase the friction resistance of the ink film surface, at the same time can appropriately alleviate the anti-viscosity of the ink itself
Dispersing agent:A class of surfactants, mainly used for wetting the surface of pigments to shorten the ink manufacturing time, is conducive to the dispersion of pigments, sometimes can appropriately reduce the amount of oil absorption of pigments.In the manufacture of high concentration ink, can reduce the yield value of ink, prevent ink pigment particles agglutination and precipitation has a certain effect.

Adhesion promoter: printing inks containing a large number of polar groups, such as BOPP PE nonpolar substrate surface even by corona surface treatment, surface tension in 38 dyne ~ 42 dyne, to improve the polyurethane ink on the substrate surface adhesion fastness, often need to add the appropriate ester titanate coupling agent or chlorinated polypropylene adhesion promoter.
