Ink in the transfer, distribution (from the ink hopper ink, after complex transfer and distribution, until the smooth transfer to the surface of the printing sheet to form a blot), the flow phenomenon is called the transfer of ink, it is the main body of ink operation adaptability.

The transfer of ink can be understood from two aspects: On the one hand, ink transfer, uniform ink and ink roller transfer; On the other hand is the ink between the plate and the blanket, the blanket and the transfer between the sheet. On the other hand is the ink between the plate and the blanket, the blanket and the transfer between the sheet. The former is mainly affected by inking and transmission, while the latter is also affected by printing conditions (such as printing type, printing speed, printing pressure, etc.) and blanket, paper.

That is, the transfer of ink is displayed in the whole transfer, distribution and ink layer separation (or splitting) process, which is of great significance to offset printing. The quality of ink transfer, mainly depends on the ink drawing and viscosity, but also its wettability, viscosity, yield value, thixotropy, surface tension and so on.
